God, Our Savior
Philippians 3:14
Those who have heard and obeyed the gospel need to guard against becoming haughty, over confident and self-righteous in their salvation. We must continually remind ourselves that it was God through His Son Jesus Christ who has saved us and that we have responded to this glorious upward call of God by the gospel. Remember Jesus’ words (John 12:32): “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”
So, it was ...
...His love - John 3:16
...His life - John 10:11
...His grace - Ephesians 2:8
...His gospel - Romans 15:19
...His gift - Romans 5:15
...His will - Galatians 1:4
...His promise - Titus 1:2
...His purpose - 2 Timothy 1:9
...His work - Colossians 2:12
...His humiliation - Acts 8:33
